  1. How does CareClicks.co.uk work?
    It's actually quite simple. We partner with non-profit organisations to create a convenient gateway for their supporters to access an extensive online shopping Mall. In addition to convenience, consumers passively provide financial support for their organisation from commissions paid for purchases made via the Mall.

  2. Does it cost me anything to participate?
    Access to CareClicks.co.uk is absolutely free.

  3. How do I save money when I shop online through CareClicks.co.uk?
    In addition to huge discounts at many shops, you can save hundreds of pounds per year by always having access to coupon promotion codes (we even have exclusive coupons for our shoppers). Whether it's free shipping, £5 off purchases of £50 or more, or buy one get one free, you can take advantage of these benefits when available.

  5. Since the non-profit organisation earns income on my purchase, does that mean I'm paying more?
    Not at all. You will never pay more at a merchant because of the financial benefit provided to your non-profit organisation. In fact, in many cases, you may pay less for the identical purchase, due to our negotiated discounts, and listing of "insider" coupon codes (many exclusive to CareClicks.co.uk) which are not available at the merchant website.

  6. Do I have to register with personal information? What about my privacy?
    CareClicks.co.uk vigorously respects your privacy. We do not require any personal information from you at all. Our only interest is for you to use the CareClicks.co.uk door as a convenient access to your online shopping. For further information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

  7. How much does my group earn from my purchases?
    The rebate amount for each retailer is listed to the right of each merchant. Rebates vary dramatically from merchant to merchant and product to product. They are also often dependant on monthly sales volume achieved by CareClicks.co.uk with specific merchants. The amount you see lists the minimum and maximum percentage or cash amount that your favourite non-profit receives. Remember that they earn 100% of that amount, as CareClicks.co.uk’s administrative expenses have already been accounted for in the compensation schedule.

  8. Do you have to be a group supporter to participate?
    Everyone is free to enjoy the benefits of CareClicks.co.uk. In fact, you can actually help friends or family members by introducing them to the convenience of the shopping Mall. By doing so, you will expand the shopping network that provides rebates to your chosen non-profit. We have included a “Tell a Friend” section on our site to make it easy for you to share our services with friends and family.

  9. Are the funds my shopping generates tax deductible?
    No. Funds created for your non-profit organisation are not tax deductible. CareClicks.co.uk never knows who the "shopper" is, and doesn’t collect personal information about you. You in turn would not know precisely how much you specifically raised for your group.

  10. Are the CareClicks.co.uk merchant shopping sites secure
    Our participating merchants offer an absolute secure and safe shopping experience. In fact, you probably know that. You shop at many of them already.

  11. If I already have an account with a merchant, do I have to open a new one when benefiting from the CareClicks.co.uk service?
    Absolutely not. Your existing account information remains with the merchant. Just login as you usually do having arrived at the merchant site via the link from the Mall. It's just that easy!

  12. What do I do if I have a problem with my order?
    Please remember that CareClicks.co.uk only takes you to the merchant. You and your personal information are anonymous to us. You should directly contact the merchant’s  customer service department regarding the status of your order.

  13. Why can't I see the merchant ads or links?
    If you have internet security with ad blocking software, you may not be able to see the merchant ads or links. To see the merchant ads and links, you will need to disable ad blocking. Norton Internet Security is one popular software that comes preinstalled on many systems. For instructions on how to disable ad blocking in Norton Internet Security, Click here.   14. How does my favourite non-profit organisation get listed?
    Unlike other sites, CareClicks.co.uk does not arbitrarily list non-profit organisations. We partner with them, and all that is needed to participate in our complimentary service is completion of this brief Enrolment Form. Please click here to utilise our “Tell a Friend” Email (feel free to edit) to notify them about the service.

  15. If I place an order by telephone, or purchase from a merchant's Email, will my group receive credit for the transaction?
    Unless you make a purchase from the link provided in the Mall, chances are, we will not be credited with the purchase, and your chosen non-profit will not benefit. Feel free to call merchants with questions, but in almost all cases, completing the transaction over the phone will not result in group income.

    Once your account is live, we will provide you with a password to access our administration area to begin communicating with supporters.

  3. What other control do we have over content on CareClicks.co.uk
    In addition to the Message Board, you have the ability to delete any online merchant or category in your Mall. CareClicks.co.uk is a family-friendly website, and does not contract with merchants focused on gambling, pornography, alcohol (other than wine) and offensive and violent products or services. However, some clients offer existing services that a Mall merchant may compete with (e.g. affinity credit card), so we provide you the flexibility of excluding them from your Mall.

  4. What is the best way to communicate this program to our supporters?
    Any method is productive, as long as it's often. Email, website, newsletters, and face to face at local meetings, will all work well. Piggybacking on all existing communications (direct mail, telephone), especially in the early stages, is a no cost beneficial way to "get the word out".
    Best of all, you will be provided with a website/email banner plus electronic newsletters focusing on merchants offering promotions. These awareness tools are provided at absolutely no cost or marketing effort on your part. Just hit the send button to your distribution list and your supporters can use the links provided to conveniently shop online at your virtual Mall.
    Finally, it is a fact that people need to hear a message a minimum of 15 times before they begin to take action (have you seen any new TV ads lately?...how many repeats?). So inform, remind and communicate the program benefits as frequently as reasonably possible, your supporters will thank you.

  5. How popular is internet shopping anyway?
    Shopping on the web is way of life today. According to a number of industry organisations, over 90% of UK households with internet access shop online, with spending ranging between £100and £1,000 each year. These numbers are expected to increase by 15% annually over the next 4 years.     There are a number of variables, however, depending on the types of goods and services purchased, between £10 and £100 per year, per shopper, should be earned by your organisation.

  7. When do we get paid?
    You will be paid by cheque half yearly, 90-180 days in arrears. This allows time for receipt of funds from the merchants, accounting, auditing, and check dispersal. For example, the April Remittance Report pays commissions on sales occurring from July through December, subject to a minimum amount earned of £50. If the balance is less than £50, it will roll over until the next half yearly report which equals or exceeds this amount.

  8. What exactly is a "custom" shopping portal?
    A custom shopping portal includes your logo, photo or banner, and descriptive copy of your organisation on the Mall, with links to pertinent sections of your website or other appropriate recommended websites.

  9. How does CareClicks.co.uk compare with other online shopping sites?
    CareClicks.co.uk respects your supporter's privacy and does not require them to register with confidential information or download or install spyware software. From your supporter viewpoint, they can enjoy significant discounts not available directly at merchant websites. Finally, with the option to allow many more merchants to participate, between revenue earned, privacy, consumer discounts, selection, and the service we provide, there is just no comparison between CareClicks.co.uk and any other shopping website.
